I hired David to manage my variance process through the city of Austin for a proposed garage apartment remodel. We encountered significant opposition from the neighborhood association, but David represented our interests at several neighborhood meetings as well as maintaining contact with all interested parties leading up to the actual variance hearing. The project’s previous permit history and related code issues were complex and needed to be explained in a clear, concise manner. His focus, dedication, and knowledge of the variance process and city of Austin land development code resulted in our variance being approved, with minor conditions. As a result of the approved variance we were able to get our our permit approved and move forward with the apartment remodel.
